Besreg naadam

We organize a regularly scheduled Mini Naadam Festival 10 times each year for our guests. This event has been held successfully for the 10th consecutive year and takes place from 14:00 to 16:30 on the following dates:

• June: 06, 16, 17

• July: 04, 19, 25

• August: 03, 14, 28

• September: 06

Guests are welcomed into a vibrant celebration that reflects traditional Mongolian life, featuring a large ceremonial tent, colorful traditional costumes, powerful wrestlers, fast horses barely held in place, young jockeys with ringing voices, skilled archers, the magnificent melodies of long song, uplifting Mongolian dances, and the distinctive aroma of freshly fermented airag filling the air.

On dates outside the scheduled festival days, private Mini Naadam events can be organized upon request. Please note that customized Naadam events are conducted in the Mongolian language.

• The Naadam opens with performances of Urtiin Duu (Long Song) and Morin Khuur (Horsehead Fiddle)

• First round of wrestling featuring 16 strong wrestlers

• Mongolian dance performance

• Young horse jockeys circle the Naadam field singing traditional chants as the horses move toward the starting point

• Second round of wrestling

• Archers demonstrate their skills at the archery field

• Guests are invited to participate in archery and test their accuracy

• The White Old Man (Tsagaan Uvgun) greets and entertains the audience

• Third round of wrestling

• Guests proceed to the finish line area as the horses approach the finish

• Selection of the Best Paired Horses

• Awards ceremony for winning horses and young jockeys

• Winning horses parade around the Naadam field three times in honor

• Final championship wrestling match

• Awards presentation to the top-ranked wrestlers
